I have a hard time watching anything with Robin Williams in it, just because he was such a bright, loving human being on film and in person, loved by all. It is hard to recognize that, even though that light remains in old films and interviews, he's gone and is never coming back. The world instantly became a worse place when he left it.

Okay so I have a story kind of off topic and literally about a different movie but it’s about nanny mcfee when I was in third grade my parents sent me to a special needs anger issue school in a hospital so we watched nanny Mcfee once and it was my first time seeing it I was kinda scared and they said that if we misbehave there will be a teacher like nanny mcfee but worse keep in mind I was 8 and was around kids who had problems like me I actually believed it and went home and cried in my room scared I got out three months later because I was so well behaved and scared and yeah that’s the story.

I didn't know I needed this video!! I never understood the part where he was sculpting ON the life cast. I thought he was using clay to make a mask but the white part was because it was hardening too fast or something and then the whites of the eyes, I thought they painted for some reason. I didn't get it was two pieces at the time. Looking back with you explaining and after seeing your videos....I get it now! The image I see became clear. So thank you! (Did this make sense? it did while I was typing)

I was a model/dummy in a SFX college course and the life casting was.... Interesting. It was obviously their first time doing it but luckily mine was ok. Extremely uncomfortable and I hated it but fine. The girl who went immediately after me though they messed it up and covered her nostrils so she couldn't breathe. Professor had to come over and rip it off of her. Not fun.

This was so FUN! Mykie when you mention that Robin Williams might able to fool someone with his makeup? He did!! When Ve was a judge on FACE OFF she recounted a story of when she and Robin were on set and someone on the street walked up to both of them. Robin was already in his makeup and the man asked them "Hey, I heard Robin Williams is going to be here today. Is this true?" Ve said that was the moment she knew the makeup was amazing because a random individual couldn't even tell it was him!

Fun fact: they guy who played uncle Frank is a voice actor and he was in the Disney movie "mulan" as the short guy called "Yao"!! How cool is that!!
